Social Justice & Volunteering with TBAM
Thank you to the outstanding volunteers for dedicating their time on Sunday, September 14, to two important causes. What’s better than one mitzvah? Two mitzvahs in one day!!
Over 150 volunteers of all ages joined together at the HUB for JCS Milk & Honey 2025 to package and deliver Rosh HaShanah food and baskets to over 600 Holocaust survivors and homebound seniors, bringing joy as sweet as milk and honey to all involved.
Over thirty TBAM members joined together at Virginia Key Beach Park for Reverse Tashlich. This innovative environmental Jewish ritual cleaned up the Miami waterfront and helped combat plastic pollution. This collaboration with over twenty-three countries honors the tradition and addresses a modern crisis.
Thank you to all the Temple Beth Am families for filling your grocery bags for the annual High Holy Day Food Drive for the JCS Kosher Food Bank. Over 1000 bags of non-perishable food were collected for this act of tzedakah. Children helped load the big trucks with all the donations.
We cannot thank all our volunteers enough for their tireless dedication and commitment to help our community. We are just getting started this year! There is something for everyone. Reach out to help us make a difference!
