Professor Henry Green presents, The Forgotten Exodus: Sephardi Voices
Through the life stories of Sephardi and Mizrahi Jews displaced from Arab lands and Iran during the 20th century, voices are absent from the mainstream Jewish narrative.
Professor Henry Green is a distinguished scholar of Jewish history and culture at the University of Miami, where he serves as a professor of Religious Studies and was the former director of the Judaic Studies program. He is the founding director of the Jewish Museum of Florida and is the founder and executive director of Sephardi Voices, the largest digital archive of the voices of Jews ethnically cleansed from Arab lands and Iran.
His research and public work have been featured internationally—at the United Nations, in museums, academic journals, and cultural institutions, positioning him as a leading voice in documenting and preserving Sephardi and Mizrahi heritage.
