Based on our Jewish tradition of caring for our own, the Caring Committee promotes a culture of love and compassion by providing support, assistance and solace to congregants and their families as needed.

Make a positive difference in the lives of at-risk and former foster-care youth by donating and delivering a family-style dinner for 15 residents on the third Tuesday of the month. Service opportunities for Casa Valentina are coordinated in conjunction with the Sisterhood at Temple Beth Am and the National Council of Jewish Women/Kendall Section.

We’re making weekly runs to our local (and generous) supermarkets to pick-up and bring donated groceries to community pantries, fridges and local organizations. Help eliminate hunger, provide your little ones with an opportunity to learn by example and make real change in an hour or less.

Crafting and creative enthusiasts gather the first and third Tuesday of every month at TBAM to kibbitz, nosh and make comforting pieces for the clergy to give to those in need of TLC.

PATCHES is a nursing center that serves children of disadvantaged families by providing nursing care and therapies, education and nutrition 5 days a week for children birth to 21 years old. You can help by volunteering, fundraising and earning community-service hours with the PATCHES Ambassador Program for teens.

Support the future success of abused, abandoned and neglected children in our community by ensuring they have a voice through a court-appointed Guardian ad Litem and receive basic-needs, dignity items and meaningful experiences so they may dream beyond their circumstances with Voices for Children.
