We Salute the Bailine Family, honored as the Committee of 100’s 2018 ‘Family of the Year’

Each year, Temple Beth Am is proud to recognize an outstanding family of volunteers. Congratulations to the Bailine FamilyRyan, Rachel, Sasha, William and Edward — who have been honored as recipients of the Committee of 100’s 2018 “Family of the Year” Award, for their continued participation in our Temple community and their ongoing commitment to congregational leadership.

Photo of the Bailine FamilyRachel, who has been involved with PATIO in leadership roles for several years, was Co-Chair of the 2015 Day School Annual Auction and served as Chair of the 2016 Day School Annual Auction. She currently serves as Vice Chair of the Temple Beth Am Day School Board and is a member of the Temple Beth Am Board of Directors. In November 2016 Rachel was Co-Chair for the “Wellness for Women” component of the 4Play Tournament at Deering Bay. She is active in Women’s Philanthropy of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation having served on the committee for the annual Women’s Event.

A shareholder with the national law firm Greenberg Traurig, Ryan has been a volunteer working closely with the Temple’s Executive Board and Administration on Land Use issues. He has been recognized by Florida Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” for 2009–2011 and 2015–2017. In the community, Ryan is Chair of the South Dade Branch of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, and he has served as Co-Chair of Federation’s annual Sunset Over Miami event.

Sasha is a third grader at Temple Beth Am Day School and her radiant smile has been well known on campus since she began her studies here in Early Childhood.

William, a first grader at Temple Beth Am Day School who also began here in the Early Childhood, often can be seen during recess in the green quad space kicking a soccer ball or tossing a ball to one of his classmates.

We’re sure that Edward, who recently turned one year old, will be finding his way into Junior Pre-Nursery before very long.
