2013 — Bob Price
Congratulations to Bob Price, recipient of the 15th annual Talmud Torah Award, honoring a congregant who has contributed significantly to the Temple by engaging thoughtfully in our adult education programs.
Bob Price was born in Newark, New Jersey in 1932. He served four years in the United States Navy, and is a graduate of Rutgers School of Business.
In 1963 he moved to Miami where he continued to work for IBM as a sales representative until his retirement after 28 years.
Bob has three children, two “bonus” children and eight grandchildren. His first great-grandson was born this past January. Bob is married to the blessing of his life, Susan Blazer Price.
Bob is passionate about the study of Torah for the “insight into the way of life I want to lead and honor. Torah study is one of the main connections to the Jewish people in my life.”
