Temple Beth Am’s Social Justice Speaker Series presents...

Jesse Morton: Father of Online Jihadi Extremism

Join us in partnership with the Anti-Defamation League as we welcome Jesse Morton, former jihad propagandist, in conversation with Oren Segal, Director of the ADL Center on Extremism.

Thursday, January 30th, 7:00 pm

Once a prominent radicalizer, Jesse Morton co-founded and was chief propagandist of Revolution Muslim, a New York City-based group active in the 2000s, where he helped insert the narrative of Al-Qaeda and Salafi jihadist ideology into the American ambit.

Today, Morton is founder and head of Parallel Networks, an organization combatting hate and extremism, and research coordinator for the Institute for Strategic Dialogue’s Against Violence Extremism Network in North America. Morton was named one of Foreign Policy’s 2017 Global Thinkers.

Free and open to the community. RSVP to Janice Baisman, jbaisman@tbam.org, 786.364.9445

Due to Security Precautions required by ADL,
you must submit the names of all individuals in your party
