Mahloket Matters: How to Disagree
Constructively — The Beit Midrash Way
Civil discourse is turning less and less civil. Can text study of Biblical stories and their diverse interpretations empower us to engage more constructively in disagreements today? Let’s find out together!
Bring your lunch and join Rabbi Rachel Greengrass for this 6-week course which will teach us to engage constructively across differences in the spirit of the traditional beit midrash (study hall). As we learn to disagree respectfully over classic texts, we aspire to use this as a model for modern civil discourse.
Course fee: $36 for 6 sessions
Tuesdays at 12:00 noon on the following dates:
February 11, 18, 25 / March 3, 10, 17
Registration for this course is $36 per person.
