Join us for this special Tikkun Olam
Shabbat celebrating the legacy of
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Tikkun Olam Shabbat will feature an evening of special guests as we reflect as a community on how we can repair the world.
Join us for a rousing musical service to uplift your soul led by Cantor Rachelle Nelson, Reverend Robert Brooks and the St. Peters Missionary Baptist Church Choir.
We also welcome Jane Gilbert, Miami’s first Chief Resiliency Officer, who will speak about how Miami is responding to the social, physical and economic challenges it currently faces, and how you can help make a difference in our community.
After services, we will gather together with our special guests for a delicious dinner from The Big Cheese!
$18 for adults; $10 for children 12 and under.

A portion of the dinner proceeds will go toward the maintenance of our community garden on the Temple Beth Am campus, which the Tikkun Olam Committee will be reinstalling over MLK weekend as part of Mitzvah Day on Sunday, January 14th.
