‘Chavurah Connection’

A Chavurah is a dedicated group of Temple Beth Am members who engage in social, spiritual and cultural get-togethers, sharing a Jewish connection while developing, nurturing and strengthening friendships.

The word Chavurah is derived from the Hebrew chaver meaning “friend.” Each Chavurah is a small group of temple members who get together to pursue a common interest and to have fun!

Our Chavurah Connection now has 18 Chavurot (groups) that meet for activities and friendship. Temple Beth Am continues to actively reach out to strengthen relationships and connections among our members and support their Jewish life by creating Chavurot.

Contact your friends or others you would like to get to know better and ask them to join you in forming a Chavurah. Have every person register or you can all register at your first meeting and hand out registration forms for everyone to complete.

Remember, your Chavurah Connection committee is here to help you create and sustain a chavurah now and into the future.
