Mom’s Night Out — It may have been a “Mom’s Night Out,” but we were still talking about the kids. The event showcased a conversation with influencer, parent and child educator Jennie Monness and Rabbi Rachel Greengrass of Temple Beth Am. Participants learned practical ways for families to feel more connected, discover rituals and routines, help children feel secure and bring Jewish pride into their homes in our post-October 7 world. The women donated backpacks and made bookmarks with positive affirmations for children in need in our community. The event was chaired by Anna Duzhanskaya and her committee: Charlotte Cassel, Marissa Gimelstein, Lindsey Lamchick and Jaimie Scheiner.
