Promotes sportsmanship, teamwork, healthy competition, and community through basketball programs for all ages. Oversees league operations and ensures participants follow league rules and standards.

Provides lifelong learning opportunities through courses taught by clergy and guest
educators covering Judaism, Israel, Jewish history, and contemporary Jewish life.

Builds community among Temple men through fellowship, leadership opportunities, education, spirituality, advocacy, and service while supporting the mission of Temple Beth.

Provides outreach and support to members during life cycle events, illness, loss, or other times of need, helping create a warm, caring, and connected community.

Supports communication with members and the community through the Temple website, publications, social media, photography, writing, editing, proofreading, and communication initiatives.

Committee members assist with donor cultivation, sponsorships, volunteer support, event participation, and donor stewardship.

Works with clergy to plan and coordinate holiday programming and special religious events that enrich congregational life.

Supports the Temple’s gardens through volunteer service, education, sustainability initiatives, and monthly hands-on programming that promotes wellness, environmental.

Coordinates High Holy Day honors and aliyot for members in good standing and serves as Gabbai to help ensure meaningful and well-organized worship services.

Assists with seating, ticketing, accessibility, and hospitality to ensure a welcoming and organized High Holy Day experience.
Promotes full participation by individuals of all abilities through improved accessibility, inclusive programming, and best practices for both physical and digital access across.

Develops educational programs, advocacy opportunities, and community initiatives.

Supports Spanish-speaking members through worship services, educational programs, and social activities that foster inclusion and community.

Advises the Professional Librarian on library goals, policies, programming, and resources that support lifelong Jewish learning.
Creates handmade comfort items for congregants in need while providing opportunities for fellowship, creativity, and acts of kindness.

Develops initiatives that recruit, welcome, engage, and retain members while strengthening connections throughout the congregation.

Engages Jewish young professionals through social, educational, spiritual, and service opportunities that build community across Miami.
Coordinates the Temple’s annual day of community service, inspiring members of all ages to participate in meaningful volunteer projects and acts of Tikkun Olam.

Partners with the Religious Action Center for Reform Judaism to educate, advocate, and mobilize the congregation on social justice issues affecting Florida.

Works with clergy to review ritual practices, preserve Temple traditions, welcome congregants at Shabbat services, and coordinate High Holy Day worship with the Honors and Ushers Committees.

Coordinates volunteers who support Temple operations, events, the HUB, Café, and other.

Provides governance and strategic oversight for the Religious School by reviewing programs, establishing policies, encouraging parent involvement, monitoring educational trends, and serving as a liaison between the school and Temple leadership.
