Join our Sisterhood…

For friendship, leadership, intellectual and spiritual growth, and multi-generational programming.

Sisterhood is about forging connections, finding common interests and working with other women to create a sense of community that matters. Your membership is the key to our thriving organization. Each of you makes a difference. We gauge our success by looking at the sense of camaraderie, learning and goodwill that is created by our programs and opportunities to be involved.

As a part of WRJ (Women of Reform Judaism), we strengthen the voice of Jewish women worldwide and are empowered to create caring communities, nurture our congregations, cultivate personal and spiritual growth, and promote Jewish values.

Our History

Empowering, educating, and engaging women to ensure the future for Sisterhood of Temple Beth Am

Lynn Cromer was the founding President of our Sisterhood of Temple Beth Am in 2007. She was an inspiration and a friend to many with her passion for life and magnetic personality. Lynn passed away in 2014 following a valiant battle with breast cancer.

Our Sisterhood is dedicated to carrying on a dynamic leadership model that Lynn started, with a focus on empowering women and enjoying all the moments that matter.

The Lynn Cromer Leadership Initiative will support the following programs:

  • Leadership Development Workshops
  • Coaching & Mentoring Programs
  • Participating in URJ Biennial conferences, WRJ Assemblies and related Leadership Programs

Lynn inspired people to recognize “Life is Good,” to “get over it” when challenges present themselves, and to move forward with positive actions.

The Cromer family is generously supporting Sisterhood members who choose to participate in leadership development.
