Lisa, who has been active on the Beth Am campus for more than 20 years, including service to PATIO, Day School, Religious School and the Board of Directors, was recognized for raising the art of Recording Secretary over the last four years. She now will serve the board in the new post of Vice President-Events & Fundraising.

Lisa also has been active in the Beth Am Tikkun Olam Committee, playing an important role in “Feed Your Soul” Mitzvah Day on November 13, 2011, and has been instrumental in our involvement with activities to help the homeless at a shelter in Homestead.

This award is named for Harry Gunther, a wonderful man who made Temple Beth Am a high priority in his life. His widow, Ethelle, remained an active member of the Temple Beth Am family for nearly 60 years until her death in 2013.
