GrandKidding Around — Come Ready to Play!
Dear Mom and Dad:
Want to Strengthen the Bond Between Your Parent(s) and Your Child?
GrandKidding Around is an effortless and fun immersion into art and music for children from infant to 3 1/2+ with the Grandmas and Grandpas who love them. A class of discovery, emphasizing interpersonal communication, the language of numbers plus the sounds of science where we encourage our infants and toddlers to dive into learning.
|GrandKidding Around meets on Thursdays
from 9:45–10:45 am
Room 10, Mark Light Early Childhood Center
GrandKidding Around exposes grandparents and tots to endless possibilities of experimenting and exploring in a playful activity based program facilitating adult participation.
Step through the door and let your imagination soar! Together you and your grandchild will make music: clap hands, shake eggs, click sticks, move rhythmically and connect with puppets. Together you'll explore the tactile world of art: brush up, brush down, swirl paint colors all around. Drips, drops, OOPS, spills are great! Infinite possibilities to create!
Everyone, even the youngest infant, is caught up in the magic of the moment as we absorb the language of communication, numbers and science through joyful activities. The Grandparent— Grandchild Relationship is reason to celebrate! Take advantage of this Window of Opportunity; watch them grow together: grandparent and child.
