If You Love Israel, You’ll Want to be an Israel Advocate Fellow!
The Israel Advocacy Fellowship — in partnership with the Israeli American Council (IAC) — is a prestigious program for highly motivated 11th and 12th graders to engage in constructive and effective dialogue about Israel.
The fellowship will focus on critical issues including:
- Advocacy for Israel.
- The Palestinian/Israeli Conflict.
- The BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanction) Movement.
- Challenges facing American-Jewish college students.
Graduates from this program will be prepared to enter college ready, willing and able to dialogue with other students about sensitive issues surrounding Israel. They will have the historical knowledge and current information to be agents in building a strong, positive Jewish presence in their college community through advocacy, dialogue, engagement and programming.
Students will be part of a cohort of support and a network for Israel engagement on their college campus. The Fellowship meets twice a month in the evenings, one time in the classroom and another time virtually. In addition, there will be some off campus programs. Fellows will have the chance to participate in the JNF National Conference to learn from world leaders, change makers and cultural icons from business, philanthropy, technology, innovation, education, politics, and activism.
