Beth Ams Endowment Fund
From one Generation to the next — in Hebrew L'dor v'dor — the Jewish community has been preserved and sustained by its participants.
Temple Beth Am was built by founding members with vision: the Home for our Heritage Campaign funded the expansion and renovation of our campus. Our temple remains a center for Jewish Life in Miami. It is the responsibility of our current School and Temple participants to secure its future for generations to come by creating the necessary endowment funds.
Over recent years, our endowments have secured commitments from our congregants, generous friends and neighbors to help us preserve and enhance all of the services and programming offered at Temple Beth Am.
These monies are collected and placed on deposit into accounts invested securely with the Foundation of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation. The fiduciary volunteers from our Board of Trustees work to preserve and grow these funds so that the interest earned can be utilized to enrich the lives of our Schools and Temple.
As we secure additional cash commitments, we will continue to work with our participating partners in the Greater Miami Jewish Federation's Create a Jewish Legacy (CJL) campaign. CJL calls upon every member of the community to remember Jewish organizations in their estate planning. Legacy gifts are an additional way to secure the future of Temple Beth Am with funds in the future. Some in our community will choose to remember Temple Beth Am. Others will have the opportunity to include other schools, synagogues and service providers. All gifts — cash and legacy commitments — will be utilized as designated by the donor.
We will continue to share our success with the Temple Beth Am community. If you would like more information, please contact Brian Chartock at [email protected].
