Southern Jews & the Cotton Economy\nInspired by their upcoming production of The Lehman Trilogy, our partners at GableStage welcome Dr. Josh Parshall of the Goldring/ Woldenberg Institute for Southern Jewish Life to share insights combining the history of cotton production in the U.S South with southern Jewish histories. Together they will explore how Jewish migrants found their way to emerging market hubs, and- in many cases- came to occupy prominent positions in social and civic life.
