DESCRIPTION:Help Us Get Kids in Foster Care Ready for Back to School!\nWe are delighted to once again host this event in partnership with Voices for Children.\n—————————————————————————————–\nKick off the school-year with service! Join Voices for Children and Tikkun Olam at Temple Beth Am on Tuesday, July 30th at 4 PM for this annual event as we pack backpacks with school supplies for the foster children of our community.\nThen, consider joining us the next day on Wednesday, July 31st at 6 PM at Old Navy at the Shoppes of Dadeland to help distribute the backpacks and shop for clothes (generously donated by Old Navy and local sponsors) with the children.\nAttend either or both events or, if you can’t make either, help by purchasing needed supplies listed on the Voices for Children Amazon Wishlist (link below) or sponsoring a backpack (link below).\nVoices For Children provides critical support for advocacy, essential needs and positive experiences for abused, abandoned and neglected children and youth in the Miami-Dade County foster care system.
