Hebrew Tutoring Guidelines
Location, days and times are to be determined by the parents and tutor.
25 tutorial sessions are required during the course of the school year.
Each tutorial is 45 minutes.
Tutorials may take place at the temple, student's home or, in some cases, the tutor's home.
The tutorial registration fee includes payment to teachers. Please do not pay teachers directly.
If tutorial sessions take place in a student's home, a parent or an adult who is responsible for the child must be present in the home during the lesson.
All students participating in tutorials will be tested by the Director of Jewish Learning before the end of the school year and during the year as needed.
If, in an emergency, your child needs to miss a session, you must call the tutor directly and reschedule.
If you know in advance that your child will not be able to make a session, please notify the tutor 24 hours in advance.
The best way to maximize the effectiveness of the tutorial is for your child to practice regularly in between sessions. Please encourage your children to practice their lessons and sign practice pages as requested.
