Intrafaith Choir

The Intrafaith Choir of South Dade was founded by Cantor Rachelle Nelson in 2008.

The choir is made up of some 35 volunteer singers from several area synagogues who are committed to learning and sharing their appreciation of Jewish music with the greater community. The Intrafaith Choir has sung concerts at both synagogues and churches, and continues to participate in Interfaith programs during the Thanksgiving holiday season.

Their repertoire is innovative, creative, educational and lyrical, spanning the rhythmic styles of the Chassidim and S’phardim to the pulsating and hand-clapping beat of today’s most contemporary musical settings influenced by Jewish camps and popular music.
