Join your Beth Am Friends and Family for an exciting morning of Social Action Activities OFF-CAMPUS throughout our Miami Community

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE RENTING BUSES FOR THIS EVENT AND WE NEED TO KNOW IN ADVANCE HOW MANY CONGREGANTS ARE PARTICIPATING IN MITZVAH DAY. PLEASE REGISTER BY WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 18th


Religious School students and their families are invited to participate
in Mitzvah Day in place of regular Religious School activities.


Mitzvah Day OFF-CAMPUS ACTIVITIES — Bus Transportation will be provided for all Off-Campus activities. ONLINE REGISTRATION REQUIRED

Kosher Food Bank — Grocery Shopping & Food Donation SOLD OUT! Registration has been closed

Join Beth Am at the Kosher Food Bank, where your family will be challenged to purchase food with a limited budget. You will receive nutritional and budget information, go shopping at Winn-Dixie, and then stock the Food Bank shelves with the items you purchase. This project is appropriate for participants of all ages.

Redland Middle School — School Beautification/Gardening

Beautify the grounds of the Redland Middle School, an underresourced school in Miami-Dade County, and help to enhance the learning environment for the children. Tasks will include weeding, power washing, and more. This project is appropriate for participants of all ages.

Casa Valentina — Maintenance & Repairs SOLD OUT! Registration has been closed

Where do young people go when they age out of foster care? Casa Valentina is an affordable housing/support services program for at-risk youth and former foster youth in Miami-Dade County. We will help with maintenance and repair projects at Casa Valentina's residence. Get ready to use your painting, patching and repair skills! Wear closed shoes. Children over 12 only and adults.

Lotus House — Support Services SOLD OUT! Registration has been closed

Join us to provide support at Lotus House, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of homeless women, youth and children.This project is appropriate for participants of all ages.

Buses leave for Off-Campus Locations: 9:30 am
Area Projects: 10:00 am–12:00 pm
Buses Return to Beth Am: Approximately 12:30 pm
