Moral Resistance and Spiritual Authority:
Our Jewish Obligation to Social Justice
Featuring an essay by Rabbi Rachel Greengrass
Wednesday, April 24th, 7:00 pm in the Chapel
This guidebook for Jewish action on key political and social justice issues in modern American society features essays from 30 rabbis and Jewish leaders on a number of social justice topics.
These range from issues such as environmental justice, reproductive rights, LGBTQ equality, gun violence, as well as reflections on a global vision of Jewish social justice, the power of community organizing, and how to partner with other faith communities to facilitate social change.
In addition to our very own Rabbi Rachel Greengrass, we welcome fellow contributor Rabbi Adam F. Miller, spiritual leader of Temple Shalom in Naples. Together, they will guide us through this social justice roadmap as we continue to reflect on how we can repair the world individually and as a Jewish community.
