• Erev Shavuot Service, Dairy Oneg and Tikkun Leil Shavuot
7:30 pm in the Chapel, Lewis Family Religious Life Complex
In the tradition of Tikkun Leil Shavuot (Shavuot Nighttime Study), join our clergy for some Lightning Round Torah!
Rabbis Jeremy Barras, Rachel Greengrass, Judith Kempler and Jaime Aklepi will each offer learning sessions. Plus, show off your cooking skills and bring your best recipe for KugelFest 5779, our dairy oneg! Let Rabbi Aklepi know what you’ll be bringing by emailing her at email@example.com.
Rabbi Aklepi also will lead a session as part of our "Recovery Through a Jewish Lens" initiative. This multi-faceted series of programs combines awareness, education and support to end the stigma in the Jewish community around addiction. We will explore teaching and share personal stories, and discuss how this work connects to the holiday of Shavuot.
