Resume Building Workshop

Monday, December 2nd, 7:15 pm

Adele Mann, a Human Resources Recruiter at Florida International University, will meet with 11th and 12th graders to share ideas on the value and method of preparing a document that will tell their personal story and open the door to an interview or placement in a technical or college program.

Adele will lead an interactive discussion on the important components of an effective resume and the value of coursework, work experience, leadership and activities to highlight transferable skills, and stand out in a competitive environment. Reflecting a positive attitude and aptitude for learning will be the key to open the door toward an interview with the goal of gaining employment or placement in an institution of higher learning.

$10 per person, includes pizza dinner
