Presented by the AJC Belfer Institute for Latino and Latin American Affairs
Every year AJC (American Jewish Committee) hosts this memorial service, in partnership with over 40 South Florida Jewish organizations and institutions (including Temple Beth Am and our Latin Connection), in order to honor the lives of the AMIA victims. This program provides an invaluable space in which South Florida's Jewish community not only can raise its voice anew for the pending cause of justice but, also reflect jointly on current issues of concern to world Jewry, including anti-Semitism and terrorism. The memorial service has become an important gathering for our community, with hundreds of people in attendance, attracting local, national and international media coverage.
Join elected officials, consulate representatives and leaders of Miami's diverse religious and ethnic community to honor victims of the AMIA attack in Buenos Aires.
This attack, considered one of the most tragic anti-Semitic acts since the end of WWII, left 85 people dead and over 300 injured.
Temple Beth Am is proud to be one of some 50 co-sponsors of this annual commemoration.
For security reasons, you must RSVP by July 13th to email@example.com, or 305.670.1121
