Presented by the AJC Belfer Institute for Latino and Latin American Affairs
Rabbi Andrew Baker, AJC's Director of International Jewish Affairs
This year, the focus of the event will be the threat of the current rise of Anti-Semitism worldwide. Rabbi Baker is responsible for AJC’s network of relationships with Jewish communities throughout the Diaspora and addressing the accompanying issues and concerns. He has been a prominent figure in international efforts to combat anti-Semitism and in addressing Holocaust-era issues in Europe. Rabbi Baker is also the Personal Representative of the OSCE's (Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe) Chairperson-in Office on Combating Anti-Semitism.
Join elected officials, consulate representatives and leaders of Miami's diverse religious and ethnic community to honor victims of the AMIA attack in Buenos Aires.
This attack, considered one of the most tragic anti-Semitic acts since the end of WWII, left 85 people dead and over 300 injured.
Temple Beth Am is proud to be one of some 50 co-sponsors of this annual commemoration.
For security reasons, you must RSVP by July 14th to email@example.com, or 305.670.1121
