Named Funds

Imagine the Vision, Invest in Our Future, Fulfill the Dream

What is a Named Fund? Who does it Benefit? How is it Used?

A Named Fund is a Philanthropic Fund in which a donor(s) makes a designated gift to a specific area of interest or program.  A Named Fund can be named after you, your family or a loved one.  Named Funds are restricted gifts utilized in their entirety over a period of years, or within that same calendar year.

Temple Beth Am Named Funds are established at a minimum gift of $10,000*; however, everyone can participate by donating to a current Named Fund or by families coming together for a common cause. For example, ten (10) families can pool their funds to establish a Named Fund.

The following are examples of current and approved Temple Beth Am Named Fund opportunities. These are categorized by area of interest and can be expanded upon through need and donor support. Please note that all Named Fund gifts, and contributions to existing Named Funds, are completely tax-deductible.

For additional confidential information, without obligation, please contact Robert Hersh, Executive Director, 305.667.6667, ext. 101.

Thank you in advance for your Expressions of Gratitude toward Temple Beth Am, Temple Beth Am Day School and Temple Beth Am Religious School.
