Making your High Holy Day experience here
as spiritual and “hassle free” as possible

A message from Robert Hersh

We look forward to the year 5777 as another great year at Temple Beth Am and would like to make your High Holy Day experience here as spiritual and “hassle free” as possible. Here are some helpful hints:

1. Arrive here early to obtain the best available parking. We can fit most vehicles in our lots and on the field. In case of rain be sure to be prepared with umbrellas and the “right” footwear to deal with the elements. Pray it doesn’t rain!

2. Our early services are “first-come, first-served” seating. The earlier you get here the more likely you are to sit where you would like to be.

3. Please DO NOT spread your tallit, purses, coats, etc. across seats to save them for late arrivals. This is not fair to others who arrive in a timely fashion. Items will be removed from seats which are not occupied.

4. Seating for special needs is released 15 minutes before the beginning of worship services. Please arrive within that time frame to assure your seats are available or your seats will be released.

In preparation for the new year, have you downloaded our TBAM App? If you haven’t already done so now is the time to do it. You will be able to get information with the simple “tap” of a button. Another feature included in the new App is our password-protected Online Membership Directory. No more spiral-bound books to schlep around, just up-to-date member information on the go. This online directory also is available on our website at tbam.org/directory.

Here’s what you’re able to do with our TBAM App:

Calendar: Event details and information.
Contact Us: Lists all employee email address and phone numbers.
Online Membership Directory: This includes members’ names, addresses and phone numbers.
Live Streaming: Watch live services and other events from our Sanctuary or Chapel.
Prayers: Hebrew and English transliteration of the most common prayers.
Torah Study: Watch live or listen/view archived sessions.
Divrei Torah: Watch archived sermons from our clergy.
Services: View a schedule of all Shabbat and holiday services.
Schools: Day School and Religious School information.
Donate: An easy way to make a donation.
Memberhood: Read about what’s happening with our members and their families.

Getting information about what’s happening on our very busy campus is very simple to do with the App. While our Commentator and website always will be filled with up-to-date content, our App will enable you to get information whenever and wherever you are. The App is available in the iTunes App Store or the Google Play Store. The Online Membership Directory will require a login and password. Go to tbam.org/directory for instructions.

Temple Beth Am continues to offer spiritual, educational, and social opportunities that can enrich your lives in so many ways. Our App will only enhance your experience on and off campus. I hope you are as excited about this new enhancement as we are.

See you on campus...
Bob
